I am in the process of making six art chairs for this years fall/winter season in Tubac Arizona, for the Tubac Center of the Arts Holiday Artisan market. This is the first one completed I call it Gila Nights it features a pair of pigmy owls living in a cactus tree "saguaro" a lounge lizard aka Desert Spiny Lizard with a hilly scene dotted with cactus trees and ocotillo's. The seat has a Gila monster and stylized flowers and a prickly pear plant in the top corner. I painted this using acrylic paints and sealed it with a gloss lacquer finish.
