Pet Portrait

My Husbands Mother and her Husband had this dog for many years the dog was called Missy, sadly she passed.
I'd taken some pictures of the dog when we were up there on vacation, and when we got home I wanted to make them something nice for them to remember their beloved pet.

I painted a watercolor on gypsum board and my Husband made the stand.

I think I captured her pretty well what do you think?
Her owners have it in a place of honor in their home and loved the painting.
