There is a show starting in March on flight (Birds).
I have a few things in mind. I started a table with a humming bird and a cactus tree along with some flowers. Prut-near done, in my favorite colors of course.
I have a few small paintings I started and will only take a day to complete 4x4 and 3x3 inches also with humming birds.
I want to paint color in a more loose watercolor way where the paint bleeds and flows into each other but stays clean and bright. I've picked up a book by Chris Cozen called Acrylic Color. she has some good ideas and techniques I want to try. I see bits of her work I really like.
I want to grew as an artiest this year and try and be more than I am, but only in the good way.

Break of Day

Break of Day
is an acrylic on canvas measuring 14x39.5x1 This painting I must admit took me over three years to complete. Although the first draft was featuring a raven it just did not and could not speak to me however much I wanted it too, So I started working it again. From my meanderings and mornings cups of coffee looking out my kitchen nook window and with the many wild birds animals I found the cutest baby bunny and fell in love so here he is. I hope you like him as much as I do.

Holiday Art Market 2015

This years Holiday Art Market
I had some good people around me and a good time.
Thank you to every one..

Art Chair " I'm The Dad That's What I Do"

The chair is wood 1970's style, I painted it with acrylics and decorated it with home made paper clay which I can form into any shape I need, I've been working with this media for several years it is  durable and takes paint well.
"I'm The Dad That's What I Do"
is what I call this,
as he stands guard over his family.
The Chair has foot tracks and stylized wild flowers and poppies on both the seat and legs.
It's a nice sunny day with the sun high in the sky and a cactus tree, but if you look you can see on the back side a small mouse keeping out of sight.
