I painted this on a small table.

I asked my family for a little help in naming this and my cousin came up with something I liked the best..

Hare Today Gone Tomorrow

This small acrylic is on a 5x7 canvas this is my take on abstract this is the abstracteist "if that's a word" painting I have done to date, so here we go.

I painted the under painting which was a pouring fail but, I thought I can work with this. 

So this is the before.

Hare Brain

This is another small acrylic painting 6x6 inch, the background was painted first and let dry a day then serendipity took over and well, here we are with the finished painting.

I like to let these types of paintings just do there own thing and see what may come. I did however go into it with the Rabbit in mind everything else is what it is..

There's a Hare in my soup

This is a small acrylic on a 6x6 inch canvas. I think it would look nice in a child's room. It brings to mind a summer day in a meadow on the edge of the wood.

Wren

This little cactus wren is acrylic on canvas 11x14 with a golden glaze to give the feeling of lazy dog days of summer dry hot like the ones we have here in southern Arizona.

The owner asked me to paint my little bunny on the seat of the chair.

I placed little cactus bunny on all four sides.

The "Living Desert" is a refit of work that would not sell, I tried something fun and unique and it was fail. We have to try, but its when you try and fail that is when you learn something. It was "Clowning Around" But the clown is gone, long live the "Living Desert"

Art Chair's are fun to make but take time and thought. I do have a plan when going in, but this is always subject to change. Often times I get started and the flow takes over and it moves in a way that is a surprise to even me. This is not one of those.

I love Road runners I see them here all the time.

Chasing lizards and looking so much like a dinosaur.
They inspire me and I have painted them often they are interesting birds.

Birds in Flight

I just completed two new works from my Birds in Flight series. They are 4x4 acrylic on canvas with heavy texture and use of some metallic paints.

FLIGHT

There is a show starting in March on flight (Birds).
 I have a few things in mind. A table with a humming bird and a cactus tree along with some flowers. Almost done, in my favorite colors of course.
update done..

I have a few small paintings and will only take a day to complete 4x4 humming birds.
I want to paint color in a more loose watercolor way where the paint blends and flows into each other but stays clean and bright. I've picked up a book by Chris Cozen called Acrylic Color.
She has some good ideas and techniques. I see bits of her work I really like.
I want to grew as an artiest this year, try and be more than I am, but only in the good way.
