San Xavier Mission Desert tortoise

Here is a southwest style table I upcycled,

It measures 28x22x20 made of pine I believe, it is heavy to pick up. It is painted with acrylic paints and flat clear to seal, the top image has a high gloss shine and the boarder around the focal point is also flat sealed, this gives it a picture frame look which I like.

I like to use this Mission in my art for whatever reason it speaks to me.

Birds and Flowers

I turned this into a cribbage board it is a card table or T.V. tray table made of oak and painted with acrylics and sealed in resin to add strength and durability and to protect the surface of the piece.

Tumacacori Visitor

This table is painted with acrylic paints and the top is coated in a clear resin for lasting shine and useability. The table has a Hummingbird flying over cactus flowers and in the background you can see the Tumacacori Mission. I took it to the Gallery in Tubac and it sold that next weekend it was only in the shop for three days.

Hummingbird Spin-Flight

Hummingbird Spin and Hummingbird Flight are hand crafted paper models coated in a resin to add strength and a glossy shine, they are hand painted and suspended on a wire to simulate flight. The birds are actual size and took many hours to create.

Both the figurines were sold in Tubac at the Center of the Arts in the Gift shop Gallery this weekend.

A Lizards Tail

This table is at the Center of the Arts in Tubac for sale along with two of my art chairs and other works I have done. The table is living room sofa size, coffee-table.

It has a southwestern desert scene that depict wild live, Gila Monster, Pigmy Owl, Quail, Raven and lizards.
