Little Purses

Here is a start to the little purses I have been working on, there are 17 in all these are not finished. I thought I should post something on my blog, don't want you to think I gave up on it.

Baby Blanket and Doll

This was made in blue tones for a baby boy, the doll was made using the same material the small quilt was cut from, the back and doll body is fleece. The face is cotton sateen, very soft. I used Tulip Puff paints for the lettering and the detail on the doll measuring about 12 inches in all the quilt is crib size made with a light cotton batting for warmer desert nights.

Pocket Necklace

I've just finished some new designs for Valentines Day these are similar to the one's that sold at the Tubac artisan market back in December. they are only 2x1.5 or so and have a nice little pocket. These were created using Polymer Clay, Foils and some Pearl Powders. The cords are about 18 inches long.

Life is Good

I Love my life and I am so happy I found Art or did it find me either way it is the very best part of me.

The Holiday Artisan Market

Mike and I had a wonderful time in Tubac, we viewed all the paintings and wandered through the gallery not as many venders this year as last but my things were displayed well. we talked with the people and listened to the speakers then wandered about a bit more then we left and went out to dinner it was a nice show.

Southwest Art Chairs

The Art Chairs sold on the second day 11-17-2012 for 160.00 each I received a call from Wally who bought the chairs he wished to thank me for the chairs and to tell me they have found a good home. I was really hoping they would go together.

Off to Tubac

Today is the day I am off to Tubac, I'm excited about the day and I hope I do well at the show. Wish me luck...  well me and Mike luck...

Sun Catcher

I am just finishing up on these sun catcher's I will be putting the hanger hooks on this weekend. I have only a few day's left before taking all my art down to Tubac for the 2012-2013 Holiday Artisan Market.
